Gael is from Benin and holds a state doctorate in medicine obtained in 2015 in Benin. He completed his training with a master’s degree in public health obtained in 2019. He is a candidate in the PhD program in epidemiology at Laval University’s Faculty of Medicine to become a clinical researcher. He has worked for many years in the care of people living with HIV, which led to his interest in chronic diseases and the burden they place on them and those around them. He is working on the Canscreen t1D project, which aims to provide considerable support in the acceptance of screening, follow-up and participation in therapeutic trials for at-risk subjects and their families in Canada.
He is passionate about all innovations that have an impact on patient care, especially in a global approach.
