Seyed Mostafa Mousavi is currently doing a master's degree in epidemiology at Université Laval.His study’s research question arose from insights and suggestions of people living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes involved in a larger project in which people living with diabetes developed and prioritized research questions about diabetes. The aim of his study was to answer one of the identified and prioritized questions. his research question was therefore, ‘Accounting for socioeconomic status, what differences exist in HbA1c results among people in Canada with type 1 or type 2 diabetes of different sexes and different ages.
